How to Give your RO System some TLC

Reverse Osmosis MaintenanceOnce you’ve made the investment in a reverse osmosis system for your home, you’ll want to know how to maintain it properly in order to get the best results for the longest time. We offer a variety of products for home water filtration, but some need a tad more TLC than others. Our technicians are prepared to give you lots of support, but doing some at-home, regular maintenance on your RO system will help to ensure that you’re getting the safest, highest quality drinking water it can provide. After all, isn’t that why you invested in reverse osmosis in the first place?

Whole-house water filtration systems require regular maintenance. It is important to:

  • replace the filters at least once a year
  • replace any sediment filters at least once a year
  • have the system sanitized and the filter housings cleaned
  • check the reservoir tank pressure
  • replace membranes when needed
  • check for leaks
  • contact our technicians for any assistance

It seems like a lot of work, but we are here to help. You pay for clean water and that’s exactly what we want you to get! Many of our drinking water systems also come with exceptional warranties; ten years for any defects in the materials and one whole year for the reverse osmosis membrane itself.

Protect your investment and clean your system frequently. All of the contaminants and minerals that you’re filtering can clog a system or at least reduce its productivity. Clean filters lead to clean, quality drinking water. You’ll also keep your system lasting longer. which means you’ll save money because you will repair and replace less. Let us know if we can help you with your RO maintenance!
